What is a Home Inspection?
A quality home inspection is a visual examination performed by a certified home inspector of the accessible areas of a residential property that includes every facet of minor/major components of the property. Your inspection report will include pictures with descriptions of the condition of all major components and address any minor, major and any safety issues with recommendations to help with making an informed decision. Your report also includes a "Home Maintenance Handbook" for your reference to help plan for routine maintenance.
A typical home inspection will take 2-3 hours. Extra time may be needed depending on the size and age of the home. I encourage participation; so, I can answer any questions you may have as well as explain certain functions of the property. If you are not able to be present during the inspection, that is no problem; the report you will receive will give you the information you need. I will be available to answer any questions you may have at any time of the process.
